Education Benefits Application
(Formerly known as Free/Reduced Meal Application)
Good news! Breakfast and lunch will be FREE FOR ALL STUDENTS for the 2026-27 school year!
Although all students receive one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day, it is still important for every family to complete the Educational Benefits Application.
This application helps determine the amount of federal funding Otsego Public Schools receives to support important student services, including tutors, counselors, summer school, and other educational programs. Families who qualify may also be eligible for discounts on Chromebook fees and insurance, AP exam fees, SAT testing, and other educational expenses.
Even if you don't think your family will qualify, we encourage every household to submit an application. Every completed form helps ensure our district receives the funding and resources our students deserve.
And if you qualify, you can receive :
- discounts on your home internet service
- discounted school Chromebook insurance fees
- discounts on testing fees
- additional food assistance for your family
- and more!
It's a quick form to fill out - less than 10 minutes - and you only complete one per family. You can complete the Education Benefits Application online through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
- Click on More
- then Meal Benefits
- then Meal Benefits Application
- Paper copies are also available at your school's office or at the link below.
Online Meal Account
You can now add money to your child’s Food Service account through the Portal. After logging into the Portal, click on Food Service, then Pay. After entering the amount you'd like to add to the account select Add to Cart. When finished, select My Cart and complete the checkout process.
Parents can still add money to their child's account by sending in cash or a check to school with your child to give to the office.
