Bella McCamman

Otsego’s stand-out outside hitter is taking her talents to the next level. Bella McCamman will continue her volleyball career at St. Claire Community College in the fall. “It feels great knowing that all of my years of hard work in high school are paying off,” she says. “St. Claire has a great volleyball program and I’m excited to play for a coach that invests in her team not only as volleyball players, but also as people.”

Bella has played volleyball for eight years, both for Otsego schools and on travel teams and has racked up a number of accolades over the years. She was All-Region (2x), 1st Team, 2nd Team and Honorable Mention All-Conference, Team MVP, Academic All-State and also received the Coach’s award and honors as a team captain for two years. Her senior season included a major milestone, reaching her 1,000th kill and 1,000th dig. But her most memorable moment? “Beating Three Rivers in five sets to win the Conference title my junior year.”

She credits the Otsego volleyball program for preparing her for the next level. “Otsego volleyball is such an amazing program. It has built me up to the person and player that I am today.”

Bella is also involved in track, National Honor Society, Student Council, Purple Committee and the Superintendent Student Advisory Council. She plans to study Sports Management and hopes to someday work with high school sports and coach volleyball.
