She's only a 2-year fielder, but senior Hannah Fitzpatrick officially committed to Davenport University to continue her Track & Field Career. Hannah is excited to meet different athletes at Davenport and make lasting memories.
“It's a big relief to know what my next step is, and I am excited and blessed to be able to continue to do something that I love and enjoy in this next chapter of my life,” she says.
Hannah is in her 2nd year throwing shot put and disc. Last season she received 1st team all-conference, runner up at regionals, and was a state qualifier for shot put. “My most memorable moment was winning the conference last year and being able to celebrate with my friends and family, and probably all the laughs that are created at practice.” She is off to a great start this season, and looking to win a state championship this year.
Not only is Hannah all-conference in Track and Field, but she is also a 4-year varsity basketball player receiving 2nd team all-conference honors this year. She was on the JV volleyball team and JV Tennis team. Hannah also spends a lot of time giving back to her community and serves as the National Honor Society secretary. Hannah plans to study Elementary Education and hopes to be a 1st-grade teacher and coach in the future.
