Emma Hoffman at table at signing

Emma Hoffman has officially signed to join the University of Colorado for both sports in the fall. “It makes me super excited!! It now feels like I am one step closer to being able to start competing for them,” she says. She will run both cross country and track but will specialize in the 5k /10k in track.

“I am really looking forward to being pushed as an athlete and to being surrounded by people who have a love for this sport!”

Her Division 2 state championship is the first by a Wolverine Conference female and a new D2 record with a time of 16:50.1. She currently holds the school records in cross country with a time of 16:20.6, a record she has set and reset eight times. In addition, she has a long list of accolades in both sports:

  • Cross country:
    • 4x all state
    • 4x All conference
    • 4x all county
    • 4x all region
    • 1x state champion
    • Miss Cross Country (MITCA)
  • Track:
    • 7x all state
    • 2x State champ
    • 9x All conference
    • 9x All region
    • 1x All American

She has also been a team captain and a great leader/role model for those around her. So it’s no surprise her most memorable moment in high school involves the team. “I think my most memorable moment from my high school sport is winning the state meet as a team in 2022.”

Hoffman plans to study business management with the hopes of becoming a sports agent / manager.
