After seven successful years in cross country and track at Otsego, Senior Aidan Goodwin is looking forward to the next level of competition; he’s committed to the cross country and track team at Cornerstone University. “I’m happy that I get to continue the sport that I love to do at a more advanced level,” he says.
His years at Otsego have been filled with team and personal growth and achievements. His personal accolades for cross country include All-Conference (3x), All-County (3x) and All-Region (2x). For track, he was All-Region in the 3200m. He’s also been a 2x Academic All-State athlete and part of the 2023 Academic Team State Champions. His most memorable moment is beating Plainwell.
Goodwin has also participated in Robotics and STEM club at OHS. He plans to major in Nursing.
After years of hard work, Aidan Goodwin earns four more years in the sport he loves at Cornerstone University.
A runner since 6th grade, senior Matthew Long can tack on another four years as he commits to Hope College for Cross Country & Track.

After a four-year career on the varsity volleyball team, senior Bella McCamman is staying at the net. She’s committing to play volleyball at St. Claire Community College.
