Megan Germain Cross Country and Track standout, Megan Germain, made it official to continue running at Michigan State University. She has been running for 7 years, and now she will add 4 more!
“It feels very rewarding to have reached a goal I have had since 6th grade. It isn’t easy at all, so knowing I was able to get this far feels amazing,” she says.
During her time on the varsity cross country team, they have been extremely successful. They were state champions in 2022, and state runner-ups in 2023. Megan was named Captain of the team, and has collected many awards during her high school career:

Megan’s most memorable moments are “Winning the cross country state meet as a team my junior year, and breaking a few school records.” She still holds the record in the 3200m run.
“I am most excited for having opportunities and countless resources to help me advance my abilities and reach new goals I have! I am also extremely excited to meet new teammates and share my love for running with them!” she says.
Megan has also been involved in the National Honor Society. She plans on majoring in Kinesiology to become a physical therapist.
A part of her life since she was 5 years old, Morgan Foune won’t stop swimming after graduation. She’s committed to joining the swim team at Aquinas.
Senior soccer standout, Haylee Dennany, will play at the next level, committing to Jackson College.
Senior softball player Cassie Holland is excited to get at least two more years of her favorite sport. She's planning to play at Glen Oaks CC.
Leaping into another four years of her sport, Nyla Reed is headed to GVSU.
Senior football player Gabe Cavazos is headed to Ohio to get four more years on the field.
