Maddie Elkins has been playing softball for 12 years as a pitcher and centerfielder, and will now live out her dream of playing at the collegiate level playing pitcher, 3rd base, and outfield.
“I am so grateful to move on to the next level and live out my dream since I was little.” Elkins says. She is looking forward to “getting better and learning more about the game.”
Elkins has received several awards during her high school career, including All-Conference Honorable Mention her sophomore and junior year. Her most memorable moments from her high school softball seasons are the team camps she attended because they brought her closer to her teammates.
Along with softball, Elkins is also part of the varsity basketball team. In college, she plans to study business and go into real estate.
“I’m so grateful to everyone that has pushed me and gotten me to where I am today.” she says.
