“I’m so excited to continue my love for bowling into my college years,” says senior bowler Mercedes Edney. She only began bowling her freshman year in high school and quickly became a leader on the team both in scores and as a captain. She earned 2nd team All-Conference her junior year and 1st Team All-Conference her senior year in both the Wolverine and SWMHS conferences. Her senior year season also provided her most memorable moment. “Getting 4th place at regionals and achieving my goal since freshman year of making it to state.” 

She’s now ready for the next step. “I’m most excited for new friends and opportunities I’m going to have at the collegiate level.” She plans to study Early Education to become an elementary teacher.
