Students in 11th and 12th grade can elect to enroll in a training program at the Technical Education Center in Allegan. The Tech Center offers 19 technical training programs as well as vocational training opportunities for students with special needs. The Allegan Advantage is an accelerated educational program that gives high school students an opportunity to work on both high school and college courses simultaneously (traditionally known as dual-enrollment) through Lake Michigan College. Students are able to earn college credits (up to 10 classes) at no cost to the student or family; these credits can work towards a full degree at LMC or can be transferred to a number of universities across the state of Michigan and beyond. Classes are offered both morning and afternoon at LMC's site in Allegan County at the Tech Center; transportation is provided by the school district.
