Bulldog shooting guard, senior Olivia Stam, has had a basketball in her hands for the last decade and is thrilled to get four more years. She made her future plans official, signing to continue playing basketball and her academics at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. “Finalizing my commitment to play in college was so surreal,” she says. “It is such a blessing to have found the perfect college fit for me.”
One of her most memorable moments from basketball in high school was the team bonding, playing Mario Kart tournaments. It’s the bond of the love of the game that she’s looking forward to most after high school. “I look forward to growing in the sport I love with other like-minded individuals. I will be improving my craft with people that have the same passion I do.”
Stam is also a part of the track & field team, played volleyball for two years and is involved in National Honor Society and Student Council. She plans to major in communications to become a journalist.
